About Beth

Hi! Beth Ann Ziarnik here. Avid fan and author of romantic suspense. For good reason. What’s more exciting than a hero and heroine racing to outwit life-threatening danger. And overcome obstacles to their love and happily ever after?

Wow! That’s a mouthful, isn’t it? But you know what I mean.

As you can imagine, my voracious reading of romantic suspense led me to a desire to write my own. Finding a literary agent to represent me and a publisher willing to risk releasing a new author’s work proved challenging.

Release and Awards

What excitement then, when in December 2014, Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas offered a contract for my debut novel. Her Deadly Inheritance released in January 2016 and, by God’s grace, became a Amazon top seller and captured two awards:

  •  2016 “Writer of the Year” at the Write-To-Publish Conference
  •  the 2017 “Selah for First Novel” at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference

Her Deadly Reunion followed in November 2018, and you guessed it.  During their second story, Jill and Clay can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Which may account for readers saying they couldn’t put it down and couldn’t wait for the next one.

Future Novels

In Her Deadly Vows, third novel in the Series, Jill and Clay are once again steeped in action and danger. Still a work in progress, but I’ll sure let you know when it’s available.

I’m also hot on the trail of writing an exciting series of historical romantic suspense novels. Set during the pre-Civil War era, Celia and David’s three-book story ends when the guns fire at Fort Sumter.

About Beth’s Other Life

When I’m not writing, I love working jigsaw puzzles and camping with family. I also lead a fabulous group of women during our weekly Bible study and prayer time. Word & Pen Christian Writers here in Wisconsin and friends world-wide through American Christian Fiction Writers keep me busy. As if that weren’t enough, last year I acted as contractor for a building project in my backyard. The construction of a 24X32 shed required me to get permits, order supplies, coordinate phases of construction, and troubleshoot.

Though my sweetheart of 47 years left for heaven a few years ago, I can honestly say I’m blessed. Especially with my two sons and their families, including five grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. God is good!
